The home was designed by architect Charles A. Alexander who designed notable buildings in Portland, Boston, New York and Chicago. The Embassy has been virtually unchanged and is prime for restoration and updating.
It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

3rd Floor: Narrow staircase leads to circular center hall with a closed spiral staircase that takes you to the hexagonal cupola with panoramic views of the West End and the Fore River.
